High Performance Electric Cars in India 2021
Porsche Taycan
Porsche recently launched its first electric car in India. This car is beautiful in appearance and you will hardly feel any shortage in terms of features. Porsche has introduced this car in four models, which include Taycan, Taycan 4S, Turbo and Turbo-S. A ‘Cross Turismo’ trim will also be available on the Taycan 4S, Turbo and Turbo-S models. The car has been launched at a starting price of Rs 1.5 crore.
The top model of Taycan EV is capable of generating power of 560kW (761PS). Thanks to this, this model can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 2.8 seconds. Its top speed is 260 kilometers per hour. The car can give a range of 484 kilometers in a single charge.
Audi RS e-Tron GT
The Audi RS e-Tron GT and the Porsche Taycan are quite similar to each other. Both these electric cars are quite similar to each other in appearance. The engine present in this electric car generates maximum power of 646 hp. Thanks to this, the RS e-Tron GT electric car can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 3.3 seconds. Its top speed is 250 kmph. The car can be driven a maximum of 500 kilometers on a single charge. However, like Taycan, this car will also be heavy on your pocket. The price of Audi RS e-Tron GT in India is around Rs 2 crore.
Jaguar I-Pace
If you do not know, then let us tell you that Jaguar is a part of Tata Group and this company’s luxury electric car I-Pace is present in India. This is a full size sedan car, which works on 90kWh EV400 motor. This motor is capable of generating peak power of 394.26bhp and maximum torque of 696Nm. Its top speed is 200 Kmph. The company claims that this electric car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers in 4.8 seconds. Many luxury features are available in it. This great electric car has been launched in three variants. The ex-showroom price of its base trim is Rs 1.05 crore, mid trim is priced at Rs 1.08 crore and top trim is priced at Rs 1.12 crore.
Mercedes-Benz EQC
Mercedes-Benz has also launched its first electric high-performance car in India in the form of EQC. The main attraction of this car is the luxury interior and features, but in terms of performance and range, this electric car is also no less than anyone. The electric powertrain present in the Mercedes-Benz EQC produces an output of 300kW (408 hp), thanks to which the car takes just 5.1 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 kilometers per hour. The 80 kWh capacity battery present in it can give the car a range of up to 414 kilometers in a single charge. The starting price of this electric car in India is around Rs 1.06 crore.
