Actor Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja recently told that she shares a very good bond with Raveena Tandon and Shilpa Shetty. She also revealed that Raveena often says that if she had met Govinda earlier, she would have married him.
Let us tell you, in the 90s, the pair of Govinda and Raveena was one of the hit pairs of Bollywood. They have worked together in films like Pardeshi Babu, Aunty No. 1, Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan and Akhiyon Se Goli Mare.
Sunita shares a good bond with Govinda’s co-actors
In an interview given to Hindi Rush, Sunita said that when she used to go to the sets with Govinda, she used to have a lot of fun with actresses like Shilpa Shetty, Raveena Tandon and Manisha Koirala. He said- We all used to eat dinner together after shooting. Govinda had a good bonding with his co-actors. Raveena still says that if Chichi (Govinda) had met me earlier, I would have married you. I told him- Take it, you will come to know.
Govinda had signed 75 films
Govinda was the most popular actor in the 1990s. At one time he had signed 75 films. Working on more than four projects a day. During this period he hardly spent any time at home. He was often out for shooting. Sunita also talked about this journey of Govinda.
He said- We were not even able to meet him. He would come home and just sleep for a few hours. By that time Tina had been born, so I remained busy with her and my mother-in-law. This was the reason why Govinda’s absence did not affect me. Also, there were a lot of outdoor shoots. He used to go to Shimla, Kashmir and I was with my child, so I did not realize when time passed. Also, sometimes we would accompany him for outdoor shoots in Madras, Hyderabad.
