The Punjab government of Pakistan has opened the Bhagat Singh Gallery to the public at Poonch House in Lahore. The gallery has been inaugurated by Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman. This building has been kept in its original form. The struggle for freedom by Bhagat Singh is shown in the gallery. For the first time in 2018, the Archaeological Department of Pakistan Punjab had made public the artifacts from the freedom struggle. It also includes some records related to the case file of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. This also includes the death certificate given to him. Bhagat Singh was hanged on 23 March 1931.

Bhagat Singh Memorial Foundation Chairman Advocate Imtiaz Rashid Qureshi told the media that along with opening the Bhagat Singh Gallery to tourists, the Punjab government should name Shadman Chowk after the martyr. He will put pressure on the government for this.

This information was given by the government during the hearing in Lahore High Court in November. The government said that he was not a freedom fighter but a terrorist. The next hearing of this case is fixed for January 17.
