Indian Railways arranged the Vande Bharat train and now on the night of 9 May, all the players were seen exiting the Delhi railway station.

Indian Railway statement
CRPO Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay of Northern Railway said that on the morning of Friday, May 9, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav took stock of the whole situation. Airports are closed in many places in the country, so instructions were received by Indian Railways to run special trains for people trapped in all those places. Himanshu Upadhyay further informed that five special trains are being run from Jammu, Udhampur and Katra to Delhi. IPL players have also returned to Delhi from one of these train. The entire IPL staff boarded the train from Jalandhar.

IPL suspended for a week
After the cancellation of the match between Delhi-Punjab, the IPL has also been suspended for a week. This decision has been taken due to tension between India and Pakistan. The BCCI has thanked the Government of India for running a special train. A video of the players traveling by Vande Bharat train has been shared from the X account of IPL.
