The film ‘Red 2’ starring Ajay Devgan has completed the journey of earning a hundred crore rupees at the domestic box office in nine days. Earlier, Ajay Devgan’s film ‘Total Dhamaal’ completed the figure here in nine days. Ajay’s five films which have succeeded in getting a hundred crore rupees figure in the short period of time.

Ajay Devgan’s first film of this year was ‘Azad’ which was released on 17 January. The film debuted with Ajay’s nephew Aman and Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha. The story of the film did not be liked by the audience and the film was declared a flop on the first day of its release. The film ‘Red 2’ is Ajay’s second film of this year. The film has found four stars in the ‘Amar Ujala’ review and the film has made its tempo from day one.

The film ‘Red 2’ earned the first week of Rs 95.75 crore. The film had done a business of five crore rupees at the domestic box office on Friday till the final news was received and with this the film’s figure crossed the 100 crore rupees. The success of Ajay Devgan’s film ‘Red 2’ matters a lot to him because no film of Ajay Devgan has been liked by the audience since the film ‘Satan’.

As far as Ajay’s number of hundred crore films are concerned, this number has now reached 16 with the film ‘Red 2’ touching the hundred crores. Ajay’s four films have also grossed two hundred or more. Director Om Raut’s film ‘Tanji The Unsang Warrior’ is at number one in terms of making the highest collection of any film by Ajay Devgan. The film did a business of Rs 279.55 crore at the domestic box office in the year 2020.
