Hashim Safiuddin, who arranged Fuad Shukar’s wedding, was also killed in an Israeli strike in October 2024. Safiuddin was to become the chief of Hezbollah after Nasrallah’s death.

American newspaper Wall Street Journal in its report, quoting a Hezbollah official, claimed that after receiving a call, Fuad had left his office and gone to the seventh floor of the same building, after which the attack took place there.
According to the report, Fuad Shukar was in his office on the second floor of a residential building in Beirut. At around 7 pm on July 30, he received a call. He was told to go to his apartment on the seventh floor and then a few minutes later he was murdered in an attack.
Along with Shukar, his wife, two other women and two children were also killed in the attack. Apart from this, about 70 people were also injured.
According to the report, this call was from someone who had deep infiltration into the internal network of Hezbollah. That’s why after hearing the call, Shukar went to his apartment.
