Customs department arrested 2 Brazilian nationals with cocaine worth more than Rs 20 crore at Delhi International Airport. A Customs Department official said on Sunday that both were coming from Sao Paulo via Paris on December 24. During this time, he was stopped when he reached Delhi airport.
During interrogation, both the passengers admitted that they had swallowed capsules filled with cocaine. 58 capsules containing 562 grams of cocaine were recovered from the female passenger. While 837 grams of cocaine was seized from the male passenger. The total value of 1399 grams of cocaine is around Rs 20.98 crore.
